Kidangoor Sree Maha Ganapathy Temple is located near to the west
gopuram of Kidangoor Subrahmanya Swamy Temple Kidangoor(Enroute-Kidangoor-Manarcaud
Road),Kottayam Dist,Kerala, India. This temple is one of the famous Ganesh temples
in Kerala, situated in Kottayam District
This temple is managed by Sree Vinayaka Temple Trust. A beautiful idol of Maha Ganapathy
(facing east) is installed in this temple in 1990's.The Nalambalam wall is decorated
with different Ashta (8 forms and other god and godess)Ganapathy forms. Vinayaka
Chathurthi in Chingam is the main festival.
The darshan time is from 5:00 AM to 11.00 AM in Morning and 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM in
the Evening.

Kidangoor Sree Maha Ganapathy Temple is ideally located at 10 kilometers southeast
of Ettumanoor-Pala route in Kottayam District.Temple is 1 km away from the Kidangoor
junction of Ettumanur-Poonjar Highway and also by the south side of Kidangoor- Manarkad
road. Kidangoor is historically one of the 64 villages of the Namboodiris. It was
the boundary of the Thekkumkur - Vadakkumkur kings.
